media texts are re-presentations of reality and have been fine-tuned by
producers to fit a specific audience or purpose. When studying different types
of media it’s important to remember that however the media has been created and
with whatever budget it is still a representation of someone concept of existence
and has been produced in such format that it can be read/views by other people.
Without media we would be very limited to our view of the world. Media helps
give us a wider understanding and helps create our opinions. Media is produced
and then viewed by an audience.
